DIRECTIONS to AShe County Wildlife Club

AS OF JAN. 2025- Due to bridge repairs on other routes, there is currently only one way to reach the Club at 3220 Big Peak Creek Road, Laurel Springs.

Coming from Sparta, Laurel Springs, or Jefferson, turn onto Big Peak Creek Road at The Upper Mountain Research Station (an N.C. State University agricultural research station on N.C. 88). The N.C. 88/Big Peak Road intersection is about 3 miles from the N.C. 88/N.C. 18 intersection in Laurel Springs, and maybe 12 miles from the N.C. 88/U.S. 221 int

We have 5-Stand, Sporting Clays, Pyramid Trap, and Skeet Fields and host National Sporting Clays Assn. tourneys at our gun range.

We have two steel knock-down arrays, 6 steel targets and 12 target stands for cardboard & paper targets.

We host Ultimate Bench Rest (UBR) and International Bench Rest (IBS) shoots. We have hosted regional and NATIONAL tourneys.

Welcome to Ashe County (The Coolest Corner of North Carolina) and The Ashe County Wildlife Club!

The Club is not a public range. Due to limited membership slots, the Club is currently open only to members and immediate family for daily use. Range access is by gate code. The range is 15 miles east of Jefferson, off of N.C. 88. Hours are 8:00 a.m to dusk Monday-Saturday. Sunday shooting starts at 1:00 p.m.

NO HUNTING IS ALLOWED ON CLUB PROPERTY.
